Intentions

Where can I leave intentions?

The club has an email address for leaving trip intentions:
intentions[at]mtsc.org.nz
Intentions sent to this address will not be acted upon UNLESS a party is reported overdue (e.g. by a family member, flatmate, friend, etc.).

The email should include:

• A list of participants and their contact details (e.g. mobile, contact person phone number);
• A brief description of the intended route/destination;
• Starting point (e.g. name of road end);
• Start date;
• Date/time due out;
• Vehicle registration;
• Any other relevant details.

The email is sent to several MTSC members. This information will be provided to LandSAR/Police only if the party is reported overdue.
